Lutheran Human Resources is located in the "D" building which runs along Aldren Avenue.  Enter the campus on Aldren Avenue from Falconer Street. Pass through the stop sign and you'll see the circular drive for Hultquist Place Assisted Living on the left. Drive around the circle and you will see a single door with a green awning on your right.  When you enter under the awning, follow the signs to Human Resources. We look forward to meeting you!

  • Child Care Counselor

    Purpose of this position:

    Provides supervision and supportive counseling to adolescents utilizing a team approach.  To protect the health and safety of residents within a structured environment.  Communication skill, both verbal and written, are essential to this position.

     

    Qualifications:

    High School Diploma, AA , Bachelor’s preferred.  Valid NYS Driver’s License.  Child Care work experience is preferred.

  • Director of Quality & Evaluation

    Purpose of this position:

    Provides ongoing assessment and evaluation of the Residential Treatment Center program to ensure that youth resident needs, agency standards, and funding requirements are met, including regularly assessing gaps, monitoring performance, and working with key leaders to implement solutions.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Must have a Social Services-related Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree in health care field with equivalent work experience.
    • Must have demonstrated knowledge of and/or prior experience with The Joint Commission and/or the Council on Accreditation (COA) standards for the accreditation of Residential Treatment Centers and the basic tenets of continuous quality improvement.
    • At least 3-5 years of experience supporting quality management activities within a social services program
    • In addition, the Director of Quality and Evaluation must have:
    • Experience with data collection, analysis and management.
    • Knowledge of Total Quality Management principles and program evaluation methodologies.
    • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with staff and other stakeholders to develop, implement and track quality work plans and plans of correction using evidence based quality methodologies.
    • Expertise interpreting regulatory requirements and developing and implementing systems designed to meet service delivery mandates.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • The ability to work independently and be self-directed, while also serving as a productive team member.
    • Excellent organizational skills, and good attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong critical thinking and assessment skills.
  • Clinical Director of

    Residential Treatment

    Purpose of this position:

    Oversees the clinical operations and quality of the Residential Treatment Center, supporting both current activities and projected growth.

     

    Qualifications:

    • NYS LCSW
    • Progressive clinical experience in a range of residential, therapeutic & experiential learning and community-based treatment environments including 3-5 years senior clinical management experience.
    • Valid drivers’ license with reliable transportation.
    • In addition, the Clinical Director must have:
    • Demonstrated experience serving as a clinical leader who is passionate about collaborating with young people, their families, communities and staff to develop and implement evidence-based, recovery-oriented, and strengths based systems of care.
    • The ability to successfully interact with a wide range of stakeholders (e.g., board members, community members, funders, legislators, clients, staff).
    • The ability to manage and prioritize multiple competing demands, with demonstrated skills in conflict resolution.
    • A demonstrated strong clinical sense within the community health and human services context. Must be comfortable as a roll-up-your-sleeves problem-solver and leader.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Knowledge of and experience implementing Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as experience with Suicide Prevention/Intervention Strategies.
  • Recruitment Data & Analysis Specialist

    Purpose of this position:

    The responsibilities of the position focus around the supervision of Family Resource Coordinators in all three foster care offices to promote recruitment, marketing, development and implementation of the recruitment plan. They will be responsible for the overall management and monitoring of foster parent record in our Electronic Health Record.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Associates Degree in related field with relevant experience considered. Bachelors degree preferred. Experience in full cycle recruiting in a fast paced, professional oriented environment; experience in sales, insurance or financial services recruitment preferred.

  • Family Resource Coordinator

    Purpose of this position:

    Recruiting, certifying/licensing, training and retaining treatment families.

     

    Qualifications:

    • MSW and two (2) years clinical/related experience preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in related field with relevant experience considered.  Any deviations from these requirements must have a waiver approved by the OCFS.
